    • Thank you for the overwhelming responses, almost 100 Site Leaders, that provided feedback to guide training session preferences - the information was used to create training sessions to accommodate your time/day needs.
    • In order to keep training sessions aligned with the E3 Spirit - we have designed our Site Leader Sessions to be smaller in size, allowing for time to answer individual questions.
    • Please sign up for your first mandatory E3 Training Session at this link.
    • Contact Marisol Marin at E3@sandi.net for any questions.

  • PARAEDUCATOR ALLOCATIONS
    • On November 30, 2020 new paraeducator allocations will be emailed to schools. All of the information you have provided to the CSR committee has been used as part of the allocation. We will be moving paraeducators in order to fill new positions required based on student needs. Important reminders when reviewing your allocations:
      • The adult to student ratio counts both teachers and paras.
      • Many students have supplemental support written into their IEPs, but you will only see their ID numbers noted in your allocation if their need exceeds what can be provided in the ratio. If you believe that there are still students with needs that exceed the ratio who are not noted in your allocation, we will review those cases through the CSR committee.
      • Allocations are based on finalized IEPs in the PowerSchool system as well as the required services within that IEP.  CSR monitors your site’s caseloads each week. If you have an increase, we will review both your teacher and PARA allocation to determine if your site requires additional staff based on the staffing ratios.
      • Timeline for movement:
        • December 1 – employees receive an email from Human Resources that their position has been eliminated and they will be reassigned.
        • December 2-4 – employees will receive phone calls in seniority order so they can select a new position.
        • December 14 – staff moving into current vacancies will begin working at the new site.
        • January 4 – staff moving into retirement vacancies will begin working at the new site.
      • Please contact csr@sandi.net with questions.

  • INITIAL ELPAC ASSESSMENTS - FOLLOW UP
    • Initial ELPAC continues throughout the year. Remember all newly-enrolled English Learners must be tested within 30 days. We currently have 54 students over 90 days enrolled with no assessment.
    • Please regularly run your eligibility reports on TOMS. It is a best practice to run completion reports every other week.
    • If you have a student who you believe needs to take the Alternate ELPAC (Initial or Summative), due to cognitive skills, please ensure to follow protocols and ensure it is updated in TOMS.
