- Q and A (March 31, 2020) (Questions were submitted by AASD members; the answers are from the District. AASD publishes the answers as they are received from the District.)
Q -- Any chance other district staff (administrators, managers, supervisors, teachers, paraprofessionals) will be reassigned to different job duties during this time?
A -- (Answer provided by AASD) All district employees are considered disaster service workers under Government Code Section 3100 and may be assigned disaster service duties during this time. See "District Communications" below.
No responses were received from the District to questions that have been submitted. All questions submitted have been sent to the District for response.
- DISTRICT COMMUNICATIONS
The attached communication was sent today to All Campus Security Assistants, Network Systems Technicians, Network Media Systems Technicians, Noon Duty Assistants, School Library Assistants, Library Technician(s) I/ II, and Student Information Systems Site Technician I/II from Greg Ottinger and Acacia Thede. Principals have shared concerns with AASD that they did not receive the communication prior to employee’s receiving it. Donis Coronel, AASD Executive Director, spoke with Acacia Thede regarding this concern. The School Messenger was scheduled to go out to the affected employees and Ms. Thede was going to send out the Principal message concurrently; however, Ms. Thede is working remotely and the power went out at her home. Therefore, the School Messenger went out and the Principal message could not. Ms. Thede apologizes for the inconvenience to Principals.
- VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY – FOOD DISTRIBUTION

Please go to https://sites.google.com/sandi.net/mealdistributionvolunteerinfo for more information and to sign up if you would like to volunteer! All employees are welcome to volunteer, please share with your staff if desired.
NOTE: Since this volunteer opportunity is for district employees only, the link above will only work if you are logged in to Google with your district ID number and password.
