DAILY UPDATE #105 -- 8/19/2020
- AASD OFFICE CLOSURE.
AASD will be sending out a Daily Update, Monday-Friday, throughout the return to instruction/school reopening period. The Weekly Update will continue as usual on Thursdays with the typical news and information for AASD members. The AASD Office continues to remain closed. AASD staff are working remotely and can be reached via the contact information at the end of this Update.
AASD has created a Google Form for AASD Members to report issues, questions or concerns regarding work-related issues, COVID-19, return to instruction and school reopening. AASD will provide answers to issues, questions or concerns submitted as answers become available. You may also share your gratitude for another AASD member, district personnel, etc., via the same link.

- DISTRICT COMMUNICATIONS
The following communication was sent to principals on August 18:
- ACCESS TO CURRICULUM AND APPLICATIONS IN CLEVER
- Please note that teachers and students will not be able to access applications and curriculum through Clever until Master Schedules are in PowerSchool.
- Classes must be assigned, and must have at least one student scheduled into the class, for start of school on 08/31/2020.
- Once your master schedule is finalized, information will be sent to Clever overnight.
- WEBSITE CLOSE OUT UPDATE
- The new website platform will now be scheduled to go live Friday. We understand the timing of this process is not ideal; unfortunately, our district is unable to address the technical issues associated with our current/old school websites and we must go live prior to the opening of school.
- Additional online training sessions have been scheduled for next week - latest schedule
- If you have not yet received editing access to your site, please contact Dan Howe at dhowe@sandi.net and be sure to include any of your staff who also need access.
