BARGAINING UPDATE. The District and the AASD Bargaining Teams met today for full contract (successor) bargaining. It was our first session and no proposals were passed. AASD requested a presentation on the upcoming summer 2022 program so AASD has the necessary information to draft a proposed new summer programs article. In addition, the district and AASD discussed the recent MOU regarding mandatory vaccinations and discussed some additional language that another bargaining unit agreed to. The AASD MOU will be revised to include the new language. As soon as the revised article is signed off, AASD will share it with our membership. The next bargaining session is December 15 and AASD intends to pass a proposal for a new summer programs article.
