SPECIAL UPDATE -- 3/14/2023

  • THE AASD/SDUSD SPRING CONFERENCE IS JUST ONE WEEK AWAY!
The Conference is mandatory for all Principals, Associate Principals, Certificated Managers, Classified Managers and Supervisors, Non-Represented Management, and Confidential Employees.

The AASD/SDUSD Spring Conference will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.  Breakfast and networking will occur from 7:00-8:00 AM.  The conference will begin promptly at 8:00 AM and end at 12 noon.  Note that the location has changed.  After years of the conference being held at the Scottish Rite Event Center, our new location is Marina Village, Seaside Room (north end of complex).  The schedule for the day is provided below.

We have planned a wonderful day of learning with something for everyone!  This year, attendees will hear a warm welcome from AASD Representatives, Superintendent Jackson, and Deputy Superintendent Bagula and then will attend two breakout sessions.  Individual selection of two breakout sessions will be made by each attendee the morning of the event upon check-in.  Sessions have a limited number of seats so arrive early to get your first choice of breakouts!  Also, there will be two opportunities to visit with our vendor partners – from 7:00-8:00 AM and again during the break from 10:15-10:45 AM.  Each vendor you visit will in turn give you a raffle ticket.  The more raffle tickets you get, the greater your chances of winning $100 gift cards!  Please support our vendor partners!

AASD thanks our Premier Sponsors for this event:  CALPRO Financial Network; SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, Symmetry Financial Group, and VEBA.  In addition, the following Premier Sponsors are providing all the AV/IT equipment for our event:  Anchor Audio, Epson, and Legrand.

Click the link below for details about the conference and for descriptions of the break-out sessions.  No pre-sign up is needed.  Arrive at the event at 7:00 AM to take advantage of the full day of professional learning and camaraderie with your colleagues.  There is quite a bit of parking at Marina Village; however, carpooling is encouraged as we are expecting a large number of attendees.
