REMINDER -- AASD SUMMERFEST - FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2024 If you haven't RSVP'd for Summerfest, you are almost out of time...and the room is almost at capacity!
TOMORROW, June 5 at 5:00 PM, is the deadline for RSVPs. If your RSVP includes a guest, then PAYMENT for your guest is also due by June 5, at 5:00 PM. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
The Summerfest theme this year isAloha Friday. The dress code is CASUAL and we hope you will embrace the theme by wearing your Aloha shirt or "island" attire.
We will also be celebrating and honoring some of your colleagues -- the AASD Distinguished Leaders and our AASD Retiring Members.
Date/Time/Location: June 14, 5:00-10:00 PM, at Marina Village, Baja Room, 1904 Quivira Way, San Diego 92109.
Summerfest isFREE for all members - Members in Good Standing, Affiliate Members and Retired Members. This festive, Hawaiian-themed party includes appetizers, dinner, dessert, and beverages. Attendees will also enjoy music provided by our first-ever live band - 5 O'clock at Nikki's!
Appetizers, buffet dinner, and dessert will be provided by Homestyle Hawaiian Catering. The delicious menu includes Kalua Wontons, Lumpia (meat & veggie), and Musubi (Spam & tofu), Korean Chicken, Kalua Pig, Teriyaki Beef, Coconut Shrimp, Pancit (veggie), Steamed White Rice, Macaroni Salad, and Oriental Salad. For dessert, a platter of Malasadas and Cookies will be served at each table. Beverages will include sodas, iced tea, beer, wine and Mai Tai's.

The Member Relations Committee and UASC staff have been working hard to provide all members with an awesome party that marks the end of another school year.
